Join Hope Afloat USA for their annual breast cancer awareness walk, the *Pink and Powerful Walk*. This event is more than just a walk; it’s an opportunity to show your support for a great cause. Wear PINK to stand in solidarity with breast cancer fighters and survivors.
Registration opens at 8:30 am, with the walk officially commencing at 9:00 am. Walk registrants will receive a commemorative walk T-shirt and a chance to win exciting door prizes. Plus, there will be pastries and coffee available, courtesy of High Point Cafe, to energize all walkers.
For those feeling lucky, raffle basket tickets will be available for purchase. This event aims to create an energetic, fun atmosphere while raising awareness for breast cancer. Show your support and wear pink as Roxborough kicks off breast cancer awareness month.

Prepare to immerse yourself in the vibrant atmosphere of Roxtoberfest 2023, Roxborough’s 11th annual fall street festival. Located on Ridge Avenue between Lyceum Avenue and Leverington Avenue, this event promises an unforgettable day of festivities for the whole family.

The festival will feature musical performances by Galen Brass Oktoberfest Band, Old Academy Players, Moonroof, The Providers, Acoustic Ferrari, Kenn Kweder, and Shattered Figures. Jeanette’s School of Dance and Action Karate will also perform during the day. The Secret Circus is set to dazzle the crowd with their skills.
Don’t miss out on exciting competitions like the stein holding contest at the Lyceum main stage. Plus, Pocket Park will host a pet costume contest and a lederhosen and dirndl costume contest.
There will be face painting, balloon twisting, games, and more. And, for those interested in history, Leverington Cemetery tours will be offered. More than 60 crafters will line Ridge Avenue with their unique offerings.
